• Analyzed stock levels to determine new fixture needs, prepared requirement reports, and coordinated on-time deliveries of all fixtures
• Reporting directly to the Vice President for Corporate Visual Merchandising, I supervised five Visual Merchandising Managers brought in from other stores to assist in the project
• Interfaced with both union and non-union construction personnel while directing movement of departments under construction
• Guiding at Department Managers through renovation and construction, familiarized them with new fixturing and applicable merchandising techniques

EARLIER ACCOMPLISHMENTS

As District Display Director for Dillard’s., a 100-store specialty women’s ready-to-wear chain, I developed fashion awareness, coordinated displays, and trained staff, including new District Display Directors throughout the country reporting directly to the Corporate Display Director, I was:
• Given responsibility for image control at the company s new flagship store on 57th St, where fashion image was crucial. My innovative merchandising and display techniques contributed to this store’s becoming the number-one-volume store for the entire company by its first anniversary
• Recognized for my planning, organizing, and coordinating abilities, I was involved in several new store openings throughout the U.S. and Canada
As, Display Coordinator/Visual Merchandising Manager with Levi Strauss Co.’s I progressed to having a five-store responsibility. Developing my functional skills, I was promoted to Visual Display troubleshooter for a multi-state region.
